Welcome to Alveley Village Vets! 

 

It has always been a dream of both Lauren and Charlie’s to own an independent veterinary practice which can deliver a high standard of care, where patients are treated as if they are our own pets. 

 

Meet The Team

Dr Lauren Wheeler BVSc CertAVP (VC) MRCVS

Director and Veterinary Surgeon

Lauren qualified from the University of Bristol in 2014 and spent 2 years in small animal general practice before pursuing her interest in cardiology.

 

Lauren completed a medical certificate in veterinary cardiology and respiratory medicine which means, at Alveley Village Vets, Lauren can offer certificate level referral investigations (cardiac ultrasound, ECG and blood work) for your pets cardiac and respiratory complaints.

​

Lauren has worked in small animal practice for 9 years gaining experience in all aspects of medicine, surgery and emergency and critical care. 

​

When not at work, Lauren enjoys spending time with her partner and family, her 4 black rescue cats and dog, Toby.

Dr Charlie Greenwood BVM BVS MRCVS

Director and Veterinary Surgeon 

Graduating from Nottingham University in 2013, her career as a vet began in a practice in Worcestershire dealing with species from hamsters to horses Charlie also worked with West Midlands Safari Park very fun but offered  experience with exotic animals.

​

Over the last few years she had been working in a small animal practice and has a varied experience while working at different practices as a locum vet. With a keen interest in internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, she has begun a certificate in small animal medicine. Recently Charlie has been working in emergency medicine which has given her a range of skills & experience and a new area of interest.

​

In her spare time she enjoy swimming, walks in the country with her two spaniels, Talli and Lottie, and going on new adventures with my family. She has a son called Harry
